Lorelei's background is in business development and strategic partnership engagement. She has worked as a business development manager for engineering companies, mining supply companies, and tier one transportation solution companies with responsibilities ranging from: identifying cross industry opportunities, launching new products and services, and developing critical value propositions to secure long term partnerships.
Lorelei has built up client portfolios with cross-industry technology providers, that mutually accelerate mine digital transformation in the areas of: sensor stack solutions, geolocation and physiological wearable technologies, and autonomous vehicles. Additionally, she has developed industry support and partnership networks with; media and conference organizations, sustainability focused talent pools and association networks, UN SDG focused social enterprises, and mining ecosystem boards. She is also an executive committee member of the MECA symposium (Mining Engagement Conference for Advancement), a soft skill and EI development symposium that was successfully launched in 2019 in partnership with The CIM (Canadian Institute of Mining). Lorelei also holds the treasurer position with The CIM's Underground Mining Society (UMS).
